<p>Each February or March, Downtown Thomasville comes together to honor and celebrate Black history, culture, and community. This annual event features a vibrant parade through downtown followed by live entertainment, cultural performances, food vendors, and family-friendly activities.</p>

<h3>September 12, 2026</h3>
<p>Held each February and September, Downtown Thomasville’s Semi-Annual Sidewalk Sale is a favorite shopping tradition. Local merchants bring special promotions, seasonal savings, and unique finds to the sidewalks, creating a fun opportunity to explore downtown while supporting local businesses.</p>
<p>Our Sidewalk Sale happens twice a year - February and September - in Downtown Thomasville! Come join us!</p>

<h3>2026 First Friday Line-Up</h3>
<p>A Downtown Thomasville tradition, First Fridays bring the community together for live music, local food, shopping, and entertainment in the heart of downtown. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience the energy, charm, and hospitality that make Downtown Thomasville a special place to gather.</p>

<h3>Toy Story 5 - October 17th at 7:30 p.m.</h3>
<p>Grab a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a family-friendly movie under the stars in Downtown Thomasville. Held periodically throughout the year, Family Movie Night offers a fun and relaxing evening for all ages, complete with great company and the charm of downtown after dark.</p>

<p>A cherished Thomasville tradition for more than a century, the Thomasville Rose Show & Festival celebrates the community's rich history, beautiful roses, and vibrant downtown. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, entertainment, shopping, dining, and family-friendly experiences throughout the festival weekend.</p>

<p>Kick off the holiday season in Downtown Thomasville during our annual Holiday Open House, traditionally held on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
