What’s for lunch?

Is it lunch time yet?

Can we have lunch?

You’re in downtown Thomasville and your little ones are starving (no seriously mom, no one has ever been this hungry!).  We’ve got 5 quick and easy restaurant recommendations to fill bellies up and keep everyone smiling.

1.      AJ Moonspin (113 North Crawford Street)

Who doesn’t love a good slice?  At AJ Moonspin, kids can play master chef by picking their own toppings to create something uniquely theirs.  From pepperoni to bell peppers, Moonspin has it all!  Pro Tip: Enjoy eating on their outdoor patio space!

2.      The Scoop (115 West Jefferson Street)

The Scoop is a total classic- casual, fast, and delicious.  Featuring kid favorites like PB&J’s, grilled cheese, and turkey sandwiches, The Scoop also has some of the tastiest ice cream around.  You can totally pretend the ice cream is for your kids (we won’t tell).  Pro Tip: Big booths are perfect for large groups!

3.      Smallcakes (127 North Broad Street)

Red Velvet.  Cookies and Cream.  Peanut Butter Cup.  S’mores.  Do we have your attention?  Smallcakes is the perfect pit-stop for an afternoon snack.  With flavors for every palette, you simply can’t go wrong.  Pro Tip: Smallcakes offers decorate-your-own birthday parties!

4.      So Ho (112 North Broad Street)

Thursday night is kids’ night at So Ho!  Enjoy a free kids meal with each adult entrée purchased (it doesn’t get much better than that!).  Enjoy southern food with an eastern flair- talkin’ about fried pimento cheese dumplings, y’all.  Pro Tip: So Ho offers FREE pb&j sandwiches for little ones every night of the week!

 5.      Grassroots (118 South Broad Street)

It’s lunch time- the kiddos are hungry and Mom could use a latte.  Head over to Grassroots for grilled cheeses and quesadillas (or maybe a smoked salmon salad for the grown-ups).  Indoor and outdoor seating available with fast service.  Pro Tip: Baked goods are made fresh daily!
